Test your limits in this activity that consists of descending waterfalls, gorges or canyons, following the course of a river, using different progression techniques. You will overcome waterfalls, swim in crystal-clear lagoons and jump into natural pools, always accompanied by breathtaking landscapes. Discover untouched places, where nature shows all its magic and magnificence, combining the splendor of the water with the beauty of the mountains.

Reccomended to bring:

  • Towels, swimming suits and water.

We have the possibility to do this activity in two locations, two different rivers:
River Arado, near Vila do Gerês fix schedule 9:20AM (not held from November to March)
River Carcerelha, near Ponte da Barca fix schedule 10:00AM (not held from November to April)

Canyoning can be practiced by anyone who has the basic skills of mountain progression / hiking, able to withstand physical efforts of medium-low intensity for more or less prolonged periods of time (approximate duration of reference: 4 hours and average distance of reference on rough terrain: 1 km).
